On Thursday April 29th, I played a gig with Dub Pistols for the british charity Tonic. Tonic is a charity that challenges stigmas about mental health issues and promotes healing through music. After the gig we all got given a bag of swag (a Tonic badge, a Tonic sticker, a t-shirt etc) and I found this postcard with me and Terry Hall from the legendary The Specials, from a previous (Tonic-) gig. Terry is a patron as well as the Dub Pistols are and I grew up listening to The Specials, they kind of got me into reggae (as well as the The Harder They Come movie did), so I just suddenly got really emotional about it all: Life is crazy, and a lot of us are probably too.....and we meet through music....and suddenly it's all not that bad..... Fuckin' brilliant !!
